Everyone is talking about the new cool kid in the block, from Youtubers, tech-heads to PC master race extremists; It’s Apple’s first silicon the M1.

M1 based Macintosh devices are the future of Apple and ARM-based architecture CPUs, GPUs etc are the future of computers.

However, not all apple computers have transitioned and even when they do, there will always be certain pros and cons. This article will cover 5 major things Macintosh computers can do on Intel-based CPU.

Before we talk about them, let me tell you a little bit about my Apple ecosystem. I have an iMac 27 inch (2020) with maxed out spec except for the CPU being 8 cores instead of 10 and (there is a good reason for that !). I used to also have a 15 inch MacBook Pro 2017 but ended up selling the laptop and my iPad Pro 12.9 (2017) inch 2nd generation to a business partner of mine and bought myself an iPad Air 4th generation ( 2021 ). I felt like listing my apple devices to let you know I mean business and I have been with apple for more than 15 years.
